Nutrition Tip Tuesday: Digestion Cubes

Digestion cubes are super easy to make! Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk!

Not only are they easy to make but they’re also easy to add to your dog’s diet! These cubes help with digestion, they’re anti-inflammatory (turmeric), anti-fungal (cinnamon), antibacterial (cinnamon), contain antioxidants (turmeric) and help with joint health.

Ingredients:

-16 oz goats milk

-1/2 tsp turmeric powder

-1/4 tsp cinnamon

-1/4 tsp ginger

-1 blackberry or a few blueberries (no blackberry for cats)

Whisk all together, pour into ice-cube trays and freeze.

Feed 1 oz per 10 lbs, so be sure to find an ice-cube tray that would work best for the size of your dog.

When making this recipe be sure to use unpasteurized goats milk rather than cows milk. Goats milk has less lactose, which is a better option to dogs/cats who are sensitive to lactose.

If your dogs seems to have an upset stomach omit their meals for a day and feed goats milk instead, it will help in digestion and give them the probiotics they need.
